Guitar practice for iPhone
Music Momentum slows any Apple Music song to a speed you can actually play, marks the riffs you're working on, and loops them until your hands know them.
Needs an Apple Music subscription and iOS 26.4 or later.
What it does
Three tools on one screen, with the controls where your thumb already is.
Spin the wheel to slow a song anywhere from 30% to full speed. Save the speed with the song, and tap to flip between your practice speed and the real thing.
30% – 100% · saved per song
Mark a point to jump back to, or a clip with a start and an end. Name it, nudge it by a tenth of a second, and find it as a pill under the timeline.
Points & clips · 0.1s nudges
Loop one clip, several clips back to back, or the whole song. While the loop runs, tap pills to add or drop clips without missing a beat.
One clip · a chain · the whole song
A look inside
Everything you need between takes, and nothing you don't.
How it works
Search Apple Music or browse your own library. Music Momentum only asks for access when you first reach for a song.
Turn the wheel until the part is playable, then save that speed with the song for next time.
Mark the bars you're stuck on as clips and loop them, one or several in a row, until they stick.
iCloud sync
Saved songs, their speeds and every marker sync through your own private iCloud, so whichever device you pick up is where you left off.
